TRAVEL PLANNING BOOK PROJECT
Congratulations! You have been given 3,000 American dollars to plan your trip of a lifetime in China. Before you get to spend your money you must learn a little about your chosen destination! After all, the best vacations are the ones that are well researched! You don’t want to miss anything while visiting the country. Your grade will depend on how realistic this budget and plan is!So please do careful research of how much these cost! You can use either U.S. or Renminbi for this project, please be aware of current exchange rate! The final could be TYPED (this means you can save this project as a Microsoft Word or PowerPoint file then have it print out . However, you have to handwrite drafts.
- Your trip must be booked during the one-week break, and will cover a time span of five days plus the times needed for travel.
- You can choose one city in China to do detailed exploration of multiples one just to sim through major attractions.
- You must pay for all expenses with your 3,000 America dollars. You can not go over the amount or your trip will be cancelled (which means you fail the project).
- You can use any resource to help you with your trip planning but you must make sure they are reliable resources… you DO NOT want to get scammed out of your money! (You must list all sources that you use for planning. )
- You must research the requirements for international travel. Look to see if the country you chose has requirements for visitors. You must list all requirements and figure the cost. Remember, you must pay for these expenses from your 3,000 American dollars.

I'm a little confused, it first said 3000 dollars then 5000 and the last one 7000. Is 7000 the limit or 3000 American dollars
ReplyDeleteSorry, Class! The budget is 3000 U.S. Dollars for the 5-day trip!
ReplyDeleteMr.Shi does the 3000 U.S DOllars include the airplane ticket or no?
ReplyDeleteYou ARE buying the ticket with the 3000 dollars.
DeleteI'm doing the intro but the thing is that the websites are on the country but not in terms of a city like Beijing, can I use Wikipedia or is that a bad source for facts, I found some like how Beijings terrain is 38% flat and 62% mountainous and that the city is located in the north China plain or just north-thanks
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely you can use Wikipedia.
ReplyDeleteCan we use other websites other than the ones you posted?
ReplyDeleteAnother question I have is can I search the estimated price of a taxi or bus,I don't think there is just one price used all the time, some maybe higher or smaller than others.as for the recipe,is it really on a poster or printer paper because a poster is pretty big
