HW -Seal 印章 and Quiz Tomorrow

**Bring some newspapers to the class tomorrow as we will be doing the first session of calligraphy.

Anything I talked about in class today could be on the quiz.

Besides 5 calligraphy scripts: 篆书（or 篆体），隶书， 楷书， 行书， 草书,  you have to know 3 types of Chinese painting: 人物， 山水 and 花鸟 and two types of seals： 阴刻 and 阳刻.

You must be able to name at least 3 famous calligraphy masters and what style they are usually associated with.
EX.
苏东坡，颜真卿， 米芾，王羲之 - 行书
赵孟頫， 颜真卿， 欧阳询， 柳公权， 黄自元 - 楷书
怀素， 宋徽宗 - 草书

Extra credit will be on naming famous works of calligraphy and painting.

On a loose leave paper:

写一篇150-200个字的博客，包括: 澎湖岛在哪儿？为什么你买了澎湖印章? 除了有用和欣赏，印章还有什么价值？

HW 2:
Go to http://www.fantizi5.com/ziyuan/ and type in your Chinese name（one character at a time）then copy the 篆体 （seal script） of your Chinese name into your HW paper. We will design your own personal seals using this tomorrow.
